Taster session

About this class

Welcome to our very popular taster sessions! During your three and a half hour taster you will be able to explore throwing on the wheel, have an introduction to hand building, experiment with surface decoration and select glazes - we also squeeze in time for quick a tea break! These sessions are a brilliant way to start your journey with clay and get to know the studio and find out about the wide range of classes we run through the week. At the end of the session you will be able to choose two pieces you would like to keep, these will be glazed and fired and can be picked up approx. 4 weeks after your session. The cost includes all materials, firing, tea, coffee and biscuits. We can post your work to you with an additional charge for post & packing dependent on size and weight. Please bring a full-length apron with you - working with clay is a messy business!

Cancellation Policy

We are not able to offer full refunds unless the class, workshop or taster session you have booked is cancelled 14 or more days before the session. If you need to cancel your class, workshop or taster session, please get in touch, we might be able to book you on an alternative date. If your booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the session we might be able to offer you a refund, less 25 % administration fee, if we can fill your space with another student. We are unable to offer alternative dates for the beginners classes if you miss a session as they follow a set structure.
