We are really pleased that we have been able to welcome back our existing students and open access members.

The safety of all our users and staff is our top priority. We have recently expanded into a second studio, redesigned our original studio and implemented new H&S measures to keep everyone as safe as possible. These include; increasing ventilation, ensuring face coverings are worn in the studios, spacing out equipment to ensure social distancing is maintained, putting in screens where needed, reducing the numbers of makers in the studios (both members and those on classes), installing hand sanitising dispensers, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing an increased cleaning regime. We encourage everyone to wash their hands regularly – which is common practice in pottery studios anyway!

We email all our members, existing students and new students our Covid code of conduct which must be signed before returning to use the studios.

We review our risk assessment every week and are confident that the measures we have put in place are working to maintain the safety of all our users and staff. We are now able to welcome new students to our classes and taster sessions and will gradually increase the opportunities to join the studio and use our facilities, carefully monitoring Public Health England guidance.

If you book onto any of our future classes or tasters we would like to reassure you that in the event of another lockdown we would offer rescheduled classes, alternative studio access or a refund.
