Eastbourne Studio Pottery CIC  at DC2 Makerspace  137-139 Seaside Road Eastbourne BN21 3PG

open access studio hire:

for experienced ceramicists

Setting up a studio is an expensive process. For experienced makers who would like extra time to work independently outside one of our set classes, hiring space at Eastbourne Studio Pottery is a cost effective way of developing your practice. We provide all of the equipment and tools necessary for just about any form of ceramics with large communal working areas and dedicated shelf space for each hirer. There are two time options, one 6 hour day per week or one 3 hour session per week, rates listed below.  Please note that when classes are taking place in the main studio you would be able to work in the second studio only. The studio is built on a community premise whereby all hirers work respectfully alongside each other. Working within this studio model fuels the development of ideas and a broadening of social and professional networks which would not be possible by working in isolation. We nurture this through a range of talks, events, shows and selling opportunities. All firing is coordinated by our studio technician.

Materials and fired work are charged separately.

Current rates for open access studio hire, all fees payable in advance:

One session of 3 hours per week £60 per calendar month

One session of 6 hours per week £100 per calendar month
