We are super excited to welcome Emma Carlow to the studio this February to share her practice and lead a workshop where we will be hand building folk art inspired animal and bird whistles The whistles will be built using your choice of buff or terracotta clay, embellished with pattern and texture, before adding colour with slips and underglazes. During the day you will be able to make several small whistles that we will fire and glaze, ready for you to collect from the studio 3 to 4 weeks after the workshop Emma Carlow is an artist, designer and maker based in Lewes working with ceramics, textiles, graphics and product design to create a magical mix of idiosyncratic objects. She is inspired by folk art from around the world and the incredible craftsmanship displayed in objects that people use for everyday celebrations and rituals £80 including all materials and firing plus tea, coffee & biscuits all day

Cancellation Policy

We are not able to offer full refunds unless the workshop or taster session you have booked is cancelled 10 or more days before the session. If you need to cancel your workshop or taster session, please get in touch, we might be able to book you on an alternative date. If your booking is cancelled less than 10 days before the session we might be able to offer you a refund if we can fill your space with another student. If you need to cancel a booking for a block of classes, notice must be given 10 or more days before the start of the block to receive a full refund. We are unable to offer alternative dates for the beginners classes if you miss a session as they follow a set structure.
