A special hand building taster for Sussex Craft Week Sussex Craft Week 2025 is the first edition of a new festival of craft to celebrate makers and making across Sussex, with a full programme of activities from 14 to 22 June Our theme for Sussex Craft Week is the garden, creating beautiful and functional pieces inspired by or for use in your garden space. For this two and a half hour hand building taster you will be making slab built, pedestal fruit bowls. Adding a wonderful statement piece to your table for sunny, lazy, lunches in the garden. After decorating your bowl with our lovely range of slip colours, your work will be fired, dipped in clear glaze and fired again, ready to collect approx. 4 weeks after the workshop. The cost includes all materials, firing, tea, coffee and biscuits. Please bring a full-length apron with you - working with clay is a messy business!
Cancellation Policy
We are not able to offer full refunds unless the class, workshop or taster session you have booked is cancelled 14 or more days before the session. If you need to cancel your class, workshop or taster session, please get in touch, we might be able to book you on an alternative date. If your booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the session we might be able to offer you a refund, less 25 % administration fee, if we can fill your space with another student.
