Little agate birds, twelve different designs

Black and cream stoneware clay cut, sliced, cut and sliced again, then rolled, cut and twisted to marble the colours into agateware. The patterns created dictated the shape and character of the birds with just the simple addition of an eye and cut for the beak. These flat pieces can be grouped on narrow shelves, framed or simply placed on any surface. They are even small enough to make into a brooch!

The sale of ceramics made by the Hive group of neurodiverse artists will support the activities of Eastbourne Mencap.
